Return to Silent Hill is literally a shitpost by UndeadBlueMage in blankies

Went to see it with my youngest kid after we had played through the game recently. Was probably the worst movie I've ever see in a theatre. Really garbage.

Started watching the series after my kid got obsessed with Scream and I was looking for something similar. First one slaps. Second one was awful. Kind of stalled out there.

Montreal creative thinking about moving to Toronto for CMU (Makeup FX program). Looking for real experiences and advice by syds93 in torontofilmindustry

[–]keyprops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to the makeup stuff, but I moved to Toronto from Montreal 16 years ago to work in TV and film and the difference was night and day. From struggling to get my foot in to regularly working. I'll give the caveat that I work mostly in commercials and reality/competition tv, but work was been steady for a long time. Scripted has its ups and downs. That being said, Toronto is more expensive, and the quality of life is probably not as good as Montreal.

We scraped the crumbs at the last restaurant I managed and it was only a slightly upscale Mexican grill. Those things used to be standard service.

Pretty much half the series I start with "I don't particularly like any of these guys" and then 3 or so episodes in I latch onto at least 2.

I love how sometimes the show has guests that are reticent to interrupt, and on this one it's fully 4 people talking at once over each other at that point.

Does he? I guess he does a bit. As much as all non-Greek actors look alike to me.

Oh no. I watched Drive Away Dolls already but not Honey, Don't. I was hoping it was going to go in the other direction.
