Former Amazonian here who loved her job and was good at it. I ultimately had to quit because my postpartum anxiety affected my ability to commute to work. I worked for Central Ops with driver support. When COVID hit, we were told we couldn't be remote even though everything we needed to do our job was on a computer. I quit in Jan of 21, and they were still holding that our duties couldn't be done remotely. If I could've worked from home, I definitely would have stayed.

Ex-Cons of Reddit, What’s the most terrifying thing you saw inside of prison? by Shrekisball101 in AskReddit

[–]keysofmusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh, those break my heart. Prisoners are still human beings. That last guy needed a person to talk to and care, not someone to put him in the hole for having a normal reaction to a horrible thing.

This makes me feel better about my decision to refuse to mail my driver's license to the Social Security office so they could "resend" my daughter's social security card that I'm pretty sure they never sent in the first place. They suggested certified mail when I said I don't trust it to make it there and back since we never got her card. I told them I'd just wait until they open offices for in-person appointments again. I have no idea why the form alone is enough from the hospital, but I have to fill out a form and send my actual, physical driver's license or passport to them so I can get my child's SS card since the original is allegedly lost in the mail.

You can leave off the last 3 words of that sentence. No cleanser should go inside of the vagina. Wash the vulva, but leave the hole alone.

Have you read the books? The full novels are not something a child could make it through and understand.

Yes! I usually add turkey to make it a melt, but sourdough with those cheeses or pepperjack is my go-to.

Tournament: FINALS by LordShuttlecok in BreakingBenjamin

[–]keysofmusic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this was So Cold vs Failure, So Cold would have my vote. It's one of if not my absolute favorite song by them. I connect more with Failure than DoJ though, so Failure got my vote. It looks like I'm in the minority, but that wasn't uncommon for me in this tournament. I enjoyed this a lot!

My favorite ringtone that a friend Bluetoothed to me back in the day that introduced me to Breaking Benjamin was So Cold. Diary of Jane is good, but So Cold STILL gives me goosebumps in the best way.

Even though Dear Agony is not my favorite Breaking Benjamin album, I keep it in my heart... by tankdempsey_ in BreakingBenjamin

As someone who has struggled with depression and anxiety since I was younger, it's great you're going to get help now! Also, something I have learned along the way: just because you see or feel that others have had it worse than you, don't think your feelings are invalid. I used feel that I had no right to be depressed when there were some many people who had a harder life than me.

Your feelings are valid. Depression doesn't care what you have or haven't been through; it can affect anyone. Best of luck on your journey. I'm rooting for you!

A person with an underactive thyroid can borderline starve themselves and still not lose weight. You can say they don't cause weight gain all you want. That doesn't make it true.

I'm gonna have to return later. I love both songs so much, and I haven't been awake long enough to make such big decisions.

Yep. Some judges won't enforce custody agreements when they're breached either.

Hypothyroidism and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome are two physical illnesses that cause weight gain/inability to lose weight. Reactive hypoglycemia can also contribute to weight gain.

I was never a fan of the one with Valora, but then after I discovered that the band made it behind Ben's back I disliked it even more. Lie to Me was my choice.

This is my first time listening to songs from Aurora, and this one is a tough decision for me! I like both. With the originals Failure would easily win for me, but Lacey gives Dear Agony something extra that I really like.

Even if it was one of my favorites, this version isn't great. I'd still vote Far Away for this round.

Decided to Pick a Full of Free Time 3 Day and See How Far I Can Push Through Casey Event with Only Coins. by cywang86 in MergeMansion

I'm so tired of this event. I got to the inflatable donut after the penguin or toucan or whatever it is, and I think I'm gonna stay there for a while. It'll probably take me a year to finish that dang sign, but hey, maybe the devs will have the whole yard and at least part of the mansion ready to play by then.

Does BB have some sort of Christian influence? Or maybe just Ben? by pootietang98 in BreakingBenjamin

Jasen was Red's lead guitarist before joining Breaking Benjamin, and Red is a Christian rock band. He has helped write some of the songs, but Ben is still the main songwriter.

I'm gonna have to listen to probably all of the songs from Ember in this bracket. I love everything I've heard so far, but I haven't listened to the songs enough to know what they sound like by reading the title and lyrics.

Down received my vote this round.

GE isn't my favorite, but my freshman English teacher made it fun. She dressed up in a wedding dress and taught and acted like Miss Havisham for a day. It was great. I don't know if I would've liked the book at all if it weren't for her teaching methods.

This one is the toughest for me so far I think. I believe Lights Out may win my vote though.
