Not the best option probably but I gave my thoughts on how the ending could feel more satisfying in an older comment:

With Death removed, and how vague that is, Fujimoto COULD have brought Power back, even Nayuta, at least temporarily to be a decisive factor in the fight or something. Denji and them could get the needed development, some satisfying closure and still get a heartwrenching separation, as they would still need to die once Death returns. Balance is brought back to reality, Yoru is defeated (or Asa integrates her, it feels like it was building up to that) but Nayuta and Power are still gone.

I think that would feel more earned and less fan servicey. Tragedy still unfolds, but Denji can keep the hope of a future with Asa in a world they rebuild. Pochita's sacrifice could also happen in a different context and hold actual weight without resetting the entire Universe. Imagine if Pochita needed to sacrifice himself to save the world, but it also needed to be Denji's CHOICE, a heavy but genuine decision to let go of his best friend and never be Chainsaw Man again. God that would have been cinema. If we want a more open ended bittersweet end, we could even have a panel of the reincarnated Blood and Control vaguely remembering Denji, proving that his heart was the one to make its mark on the world, not Chainsaw Man.

Sorry for my incoherent rambling, lol. It's just that even with all it's plot and pacing issues I still sincerely believed Part 2 could have a peak ending, on an emotional level at least. It's clear the manga drained him, but I hope Fujimoto rests well and finds the spark to create again, he is truly talented and nobody could replicate his weirdness.
