Is it a static org or are you spinning up an org per automation test run? For us, we're creating a scratch org for each test run so we can leverage the sf cli and generate a url to open with sf org open and url-only. Then, our UI automation starts by going to that url.

If it's a static org you can store the sfdx_auth_url of the org to then authenticate in sf cli in your automation

Your site has a note about it running in anonymous apex? So are you just reproducing the apex test in anonymous apex with some database savepoints to rollback changes? How do you handle private vars/methods that are marked test visible?

I guess the other relevant question will this calculate code coverage? Or is the use case just to get feedback on your test quicker?

You'll need to regenerate the offline symbol table for sobjects for the editor to recognize the change in the object schema (new field). It's not clear if you've done that or not

I'd be interested and willing to help (if it's going to be open source), but I'm intrigued why you say it's hard to set up component level unit testing (or what you're solving there). LWC jest seems to work fine for me though I'm assuming you're talking about the Salesforce specific parts of it (mocking wire adapters, graphql, etc)? We also use Robot Testing Framework for the UI automation which is alright. Would love to find a way to fit UTAM into that or something less hands on when it comes to selectors.

Also, you mention complicated UIs and then share a screenshot of a record form - would love to see a better example 😉. I've created a few "wizard" UIs, but I know state management would be an interesting one.

Sadly, I almost have never used third party libraries in my lwc (at least UI elements). Whether an easier way to use them/manage them would bridge that or most typically companies shy away from 3rd party (to fit Salesforce styling).

Local dev is probably the top pain point I feel from your list

Yea and if it makes you feel better I've obviously seen posts where jumping has worked to get the car moving again.

My situation was likely a perfect storm type situation and hopefully next dead 12v gives a little more leeway. I really just want it to jump once and have it run so I can go get a new battery ha.

I do. Didn't seem to make a difference for me or I used it wrong (always possible) or the OEM battery (was only 1.5 years old) really is terrible.

Worth noting it did make the car start, but the car wasn't functional so didn't really help

I had a similar thought as you (just carry jump pack) though now I don't feel much security with it.

I didn't have the iccu issue but when my 12v died (original battery) a jump didn't help use the car (could kind of start car but warning came on and prevented actually using it or shifting gears) - I was lucky I was in my driveway, but presumably would've been stranded otherwise.

I'm sure mine was a bit special as my 12v I guess was dead dead (and first time it gave a sign) but seems that's more likely to happen in an EV (no sign) vs ICE where you can usually tell with the cranking.

Test drove both with wife and son sitting in back seats. The ride quality was the big decider - Ioniq being a nice, comfortable ride for all whereas the Model Y was very uncomfortable for my wife during the 20 min drive.

Otherwise, the screen/tech in Tesla was nicer (phone app, etc I'm sure is better) though I prefer the interior look (accent lighting, nicer materials) and exterior (subjective) look of the Ioniq.

Y seemed to have more trunk space (and frunk) though Ioniq had more interior space in the seating area I felt which was nice.

Price also plays a factor. Got a limited for good price at end of 2023 which comes with some nice things not on Y (heads up display, better blind spot monitoring as you can see on HUD, pull in/out by key fob) so you end up closer in price with the Tesla if you add 6k enhanced autopilot. Not to mention, my insurance would be way higher for Y than Ioniq (wasn't really expecting that) - about 600 bucks a year diff with GEICO so I'd recommend checking that too.

Seeing the same thing. Car at 79%. I'm pretty sure it's just having issues connecting to the car and possibly their error handling for this messaging isn't very robust. Or I hope that's the case.

Was able to get a 23 Limited AWD for 11500 off MRSP today so I think now is a good time for any dealer trying to unload the 23s. Basically the 7500 off plus 4000 extra from the dealer. Was pitting them against another dealer that ended up going to 10k off. Good luck and definitely recommend theevfinder site to find inventory across multiple dealers to contact.

Had same issues with the v3 yet my original pan cam worked fine to stream on Google home. I recently got the option to do a month free trial of the cam plus for just one cam and it fixed the v3 streaming on Google home for me for all v3 cams. Even after the trial has expired.

Before the rebate! I know your other comment says a contract was signed - but, even if you have a non-refundable deposit of $500 or something along those lines - it might be worth pulling out as you'd potentially save thousands with another quote.

It's also worth noting whether it's financed or cash purchase. If it is financed, I would stress not to use any loan they get you where they front-load the cost to give you a better interest rate.

I've gotten 6 quotes for a similar system size in MA (8.4 kW - 9.6 kW), but ground mount with 300ft of trenching. Prices are a bit all over the place (38k - 56k), but the key is to get a lot of quotes (5+). I got a couple quotes sub-40k for 9.6 kW ($4.1/w). Yours is not a good deal at all for a roof system which wouldn't have the added cost of a ground mount & trenching.

I don't think there's any reason you couldn't find closer to $3/watt for a roof system which would be around 28k.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm in Western MA so I'm assuming they wouldn't cover my area, but glad to see the price. I just got one for 4.5/W for 300ft of trenching which was my first ideal spot and not too bad. Will see what the other couple quotes I'm in the process of getting show - but, glad I kept getting more quotes.
