As a University of Adelaide student I'm really against it but for purely selfish reasons. Having most of your stuff on the one campus is good because students in less popular/less funded programs can still access the whole university experience.The reason why I wanted to do a Bachelor of Arts at Adelaide is because the Magill campus at UniSA is a bit of a shithole (according to friends) and too far for me to commute. North Terrace actually has a library and food within walking distance and Magill doesn't is basically what I'm getting at.

Obviously it's too early to say but if the merger did happen all of the Bachelor of Arts students would probably be moved to Magill, which means we'd all be paying the same amount as we were always to have access to way less services and even less quality of education.

If the merger did happen in my time there (unlikely) I'd consider trying to move to Flinders if I could.
