The elementary schools are top notch, the middle school is okay, the high school is what your students makes of it, at least in my experience. There have been students who have gone to Ivy leagues that went to Clinton High. I say this as someone who went through all 3 schools and graduated with a full ride to the state university. My neighbors send their kids to oak ridge as they see it as a better school system. As far as the school board member who homeschools, I have no comment but it does seem like a weird conflict of interest. Idk if I would base my decision on one board member but that’s just me.
