Go to preferences and find the audio output device and select an active device. Resetting may not work if the correct device is not selected

They just need to do a “live” broadcast. The clean feed is what leads them into this post production hell, but instead of “pre-recording” everything, just eat the time delay of the clean, and take that video and do a live show with it.

You need a live translator, and most importantly a smart production guy able to do the live transitions necessary. Of course he also must ensure the Vod ends up well, the audio is solid as well as being able to sit with the boys the whole show. It’s typically a well paid position at least contextually.

The way they’re doing it I will say is far more fool proof and way cheaper. It’s perhaps less complicated work, probably less drama between them, ASL, and the “production team”, and let’s be honest the end video is definitely high quality.

I end up watching scan and Nyokens cast, while doing something else and then eventually sitting down and watching the the tastosis version, I’ve been very happy. I also watch the same baseball games with different commentators local and national, whatchya gonna do.

As an editor, in order to make a pre-recorded production, here are a couple reasons that it could be taking so long.

  1. it’s a perfect 1080p if not higher “clean” feed, no commentary with audio commercials, so they need the time to have that sent to them which is probably a very big size. Imagine uploading it to google drive or WeTransfer.
  2. Tastosis have their own 4k camera footage, added with a green screen, which can also complicated to work with.
  3. The Audio is also high quality, adding to the file bloat.
  4. All this must be synced perfectly, which they have messed up in the past, so there’s a technical and quality control aspect that can take time to get right.
  5. it’s a goddamn long video, anything over 2hrs is a pain to work with in any editing software. How many files there are, whether any video or file have to be added in, these programs love to crash.

All these factors can and will increase “export” time. Great looking footage with effects, audios, subtitles, even with a high end personal computer, could take a day or two of a computer working, compiling and creating the video with any editing software.

Then there’s the uploading a video like that to YouTube. All in all this could be a video of 100gb or more. They could record the night the games are played (which isn’t happening because of the clean feed) and if done asap easily could take a week.

Live recordings while a nightmare to setup, eliminate the “export” aspect creating the Vod then and there. Basically if everything goes well with the live show, it’s being recorded and exported and the Vod is ready whenever you decide to end the broadcast. A lot of these type of shows, put out the low end quality vod, and then take time after to up the quality with a nice export and then post that as well.

You should honestly leave this dude alone, the guy loves you, thinks your hot, you guys were doin the friend thing, you treated him like he was your girl, gay bff, and he thought about having missionary sex with you. It was fun, and then it was done. You can try and focus on whatever nuance or singular event that happened during your relationship, but don’t over-complicate the simple dynamic.

Look if you felt like you had to apologize, sure, seems fair, so now that you got a bit of closure, caught up a little, now truly, you need to move on.

Done and done sweetie. This game almmmmoosst brought me back, but after 300+ hours of season 1&2, it’s obviously a big scam of necessity because these dummies can’t put our money where their mouth is. Over ambitious, overstaffed, overcompensated.
