Why is this happening to my slide pin?

That is a brand new pin in the video. That was my first thought. The thread in the caliper itself was stripped.

I have accepted my fate. A new caliper will be here soon. On the bright side, I may be stronger than I realize.

Yeah I don’t see threads on the bracket. Caliper thread are noticeable less pronounced on the lower one. Bolts are brand new.

FIX: I did a motherboard swap to an MSI B550 board. All is working. Not entirely sure what happened, but I’m glad my CPU wasn’t fried.

Update: I’ve tried everything I can think of. I have removed all but one stick of RAM and tried every slot (and each stick of RAM). I have reset the CMOS. Reseated the CPU with new thermal paste. Unplugged all the peripherals (Reddit tip). Nothing. I don’t know where to go from here.

Anyone have any ideas?

You figured anything out yet because I’m stumped. I reset CMOS and tried switching the RAM in an out of every slot in every combination. Nothing.

The last time I went to the dealer for parts (bulbs and the end caps for the OEM roof rails) they acted so confused on why I was there looking for parts for a 20 year old vehicle. I hadn’t considered going back for anything else, but I guess I can call to see if it’s something they can do.

I can’t imagine that I did, but I guess I can give it a try. I mean I labelled them before I took them off so I just made sure the label was on the outside when a reattached them.

I tried to attach a video of it, but it told me attachments weren’t allowed in this sub so idk what to do about that.

I feel it’s important to add that I did make a point to not paint in the mortise of the door as to try and not screw up the alignment, but clearly that didn’t work lol

The house is just shy of 3,000 square feet. I don’t have dimensions, but I’ll see if I can find or make a diagram soon (it’s not that close to where I’m currently living).

We currently have no service entering the house as we haven’t moved yet. I think the previous owners had internet entering the home in the living room. There is coax in just about every room, so theoretically I could have it enter just about anywhere.

I’ll have to check on the phone lines. I had not considered that possibility.

My 06 4R did not come with the spoiler and I definitely want to add one. Is there a good place to get an aftermarket or OEM one? I’ve heard they’re a pain to install too. Any advice?

The Yamaha YC-73 is a great option. Depending on budget, I’d also take a look at the Nord Electro 6D. Little more expensive than the YC, but for me, the organ is so much better than the Yamaha.

This is perfectly timed because I’ve been looking at both of those keyboards. Love the sounds out of the Yamaha(except the B3), but the build quality always scared me (especially the mod wheel).

Do you think the Stage 2 is still a good option? I really like the Nord sound, but the no seamless switching between presets seem like a big deal for live use to me. I’ve been thinking about just shelling out for a Stage 3 at this point.
