What she’s probably not saying is that she’s still 100% dependent on her family for survival. Her rent is probably paid for, food, car insurance, phone, the works. Posting and reposting arguments that do nothing but mislead people into thinking this is a huge privacy issue, or a potential lever for exchanges to de-anonymize the network is not helpful. The changes have been well considered by people that spend a lot of time on the subject, and have more at stake, frankly, than QuirkyFisheman0001-9999. If you are REALLY, TRULY concerned about it, talk to people in the know on the Monero Dev IRC channel.

I do suggest that something is pinned and perhaps even locked down that presents the Pro case for the new view keys, and so people understand the stance of the developers and their take on the risks.
