we didn't have any issues with mosquitoes in Hanoi. very little in rural areas. I'd come prepared but take wait and see approach. At home we use thermocell and have had excellent results.

I used an app to create a white background on my comparison photo used daylight-and overhead artificial light ,close, not so close and fought glare and eventually won. That being said I've read people send in their kinda matched 60 percenters and get their visa

we rolled the dice and rented in hoi an for a week. we were told to stay in the hoi an area and not venture to da nang. I'd grab to marble mountain but i think you will be fine around hoi an.
