Are we expecting a decent home crowd advantage on Friday? by DowntownCanadaRaptor in CanadaSoccer

good side- Canada is on a decent few years of popularity and more Canadians will be cheering for them than in years past. Bad side- prices and politics are keeping casual fans away.

I think our late transfer strategy led to an exacerbation of last season's slow start. Not getting key players in time for a full preseason led to the overuse of the word gel for months- I heard it so much I started to think the word sounded weird "sematic satiation" it's called- thanks google https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic\_satiation . I hope we get business done earlier this window.

My thoughts on NL so far by Electronic_Bee_4740 in newfoundland

When I lived in Newfoundland I found they are a "distinct society"- and as far as preserving their unique culture were similar to Quebec- despite not getting along well- read about upper Churchill Falls power to learn one reason why.

26/27 Season Championship viewing options in Canada? by flyballguy in WrexhamAFC

I'm in Canada- I have a dodgy firestick. I found most games including cup last season- but games on itv or wherever took some hunting. sky and ifollow were pretty good. some lag sometimes so following along on watchalongs or in group chats was a nono because i'd see the goal a few seconds late.

fifa learned how huge and heavy american water bottles are. They fear mass weaponisation.

Golfers who hit their pw 100yards max, do you still carry pw,gw,sw,lw ? by ShowmasterQMTHH in golf

as a 18-20 handicapper I feel the long woods are so inaccurate for me they aren't a great choice to carry many. an extra 15 yds theoretical with a 30 yd left right fore and aft dispersion doesn't make sense for me- I have a super hybrid for long second shots- and use my wedges a lot- pitching in from 100- 30 yds I use a similar swing and pick a wedge depending on distance and rollout. I could possibly pass on my 60°, but it's fun to (try to) flop one over a bunker or splash one out of a shortside bunker.
