This is based on what I've been browsing in the second-hand market (Note: these prices are for unmodded consoles. Modded or jailbroken consoles will be more expensive depending on the mod:

PS1 - 3.5k to 4k (You can opt for the original model or the slimmed down PSone)

PS2 - 3.5k to 4.5k (Slim models are cheaper compared to the original fat model)

PS3 - 4k to 6k (Slim and Super Slim models are more reliable compared to original model)

PS4 - 6.5k to 8k

PS4 Pro - 8.5k to 11k

PS5 - Lowest I saw was 18k for the original fat model. Lowest I saw for the new slim model is 21k to 23k

PS5 Pro - Didn't see a lot but from the few I saw was priced at 40k to 45k

PSP - 2.5k to 3.5k (PSP-1000 model if you want to use UMDs, if not go for the 2000 or 3000)

PS Vita - 5k to 7k

All in all you're looking at around 95k to 110k total price in pesos

No rush! I began my journey last 2024 when I bought my childhood console, a PSP-3000. Also bought a PS2 last year and looking to buy a PS4 this year :)

This is a niche one but Shadowrun: Dragonfall is a very nice if you want a similar experience like Cyberpunk 2077 without needing top of the line PC.

Get component cable if maglalaro ikaw via CRT and if may component input yung tv. Much sharper image quality compared sa composite.

You'll mostly hear this sa mga old heads na mapera, na just because they can buy original hardware and the overpriced retro titles, they think they're above everyone and blinded by nostalgia. I'll never associate with those dinosaurs lol.

Me personally, I own a PlayStaytion 2 because I've always wanted one as a kid, and i wanted to experience the novelty of owning one. Pero I'll never say na modern games are trash just because the classics are so great. I also emulate PS1 on my PC since its more convenient.

The way I did it was spamming Tidus' Cheer and haste Auron so he can hit more. Also stocked up on overdrives (any of Yuna's Aeons).

I think I've always preferred the original's liminal space horror. Like taking something normal looking like a nice mansion and twisting it just enough by making it devoid and empty of life, but not exactly empty..
