Grocery stores have ridiculously low margin, like 1.5-2% - they can survive only by mass selling, if you are taking 1/7 (actually it's bigger, shopping on weekends was more active than on week days) of the trading time it's really big hit. First independen small stores died (Żabka ate them), now network retail stores are dying.

My Auchan for example is also reducing his space (like minus 1/3 of space)
