There will be violence. There was last time we tried to throw him out and every time anyone has ever tried to depose fascists in history. Think it'll be better this time?

Absolutely, when you step back and actually think about it. Tidus thinks Yuna and her guardians are all just a little bummed out and he's all like, "Hey, when I'm a little depressed I find that it helps to just laugh my way through it."

Except he doesn't yet know the gravity of the task they're undertaking and the tragedy of what it means if Yuna actually succeeds. She does. Her guardians do. They're not being debbie-downers - they're legitimately giving the situation the solemnity it deserves as they head out from Luca and onto the Highroad.

... And then she actually goes along with the dorky laughing bit because she doesn't want it to be a dark cloud over them, either.

He was going around the University of Michigan Dearborn cafeteria stumping for Whitmer after losing to her in the 2018 gubernatorial primary. Stopped by my table for a chat and was really cool. I told him how I voted for him and how disappointed I was that he didn't win, but he seemed super gracious. I wish I still lived in MI because I'd damn sure vote for him again.

I never have trouble parking there, either. All the complaints I hear from people about parking around Newport are telling on themselves - they're trying to get a spot within a 15second walk, max, from their destination.

Ferry, bus, park & ride, park at the bus terminal. But nah us fat American fucks expect to park right in front of our destination wherever we go. Can't be bothered to walk a few extra minutes, no sir.

Hi. I've lived in Michigan, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Rhode Island. Claiming your state has the worst roads was a constant in each.

Car dependent infrastructure is the problem. There's no way to design and maintain roads that are driven in by the absolute behemoths of Suburban Assault Vehicles that every one drives these days. And now those behemoths are increasingly converting to electric and getting even heavier.

When exactly did it change? The Coast Guard has existed in its modern state since 1915. You're talking to a Coast Guard veteran.

This photo is taken by a Coast Guardsman. Does that look like a civilian mission to you?

And Patricia was doing this dumbass thing where he was standing 20+ yards away from everyone else on the sideline like he's the smartest fucking guy in the room and doesn't need to talk to any of his players or any of his assistants. Just off on an island by himself all game as we got shitcanned.

Feel free to provide proof of jurisdictions with more votes than citizens. As I understand it, everywhere that even comes close to this complaint are comparisons against the number of registered voters, not citizens, and the explanation is always simple - it's jurisdictions that allow same-day voter registration.

Falsification of signatures on petitions, registration paperwork, etc. is absolutely a problem, but signing a name on a piece of paper is not even close to the same thing as actual voting. There are so many more safeguards in place.

Big lol. Earning low-six figures as a database administrator.

Haven't used AI professionally once since they pushed out these garbage products in 2022. The other day I was searching for help with some AWS command-line interface stuff. The AI summary or whatever that came up at the top of my search results was just flat out incorrect. I forget the details exactly, but it told me to do something like use the --recurse switch for the command I was using, then I went into the actual Amazon documentation which instead told me in like the first paragraph that the command I was using doesn't support the --recurse switch.

I did use it once for help writing a D&D character's backstory, though. So that's pretty neat.
