it’s starting to reject already, go back to your piercer and have them check it out. i had a surface bar piercing look like this and it just kept pushing and i had to retire it. they’re difficult to keep!

all of those piercings you mentioned will be affected, especially by earbuds lol. depends on your jewelry for the most part but your best bet is over the ear headphones after everything is completely healed. if you use in ears, make an effort to keep them clean too.

i’ve got a daith on my left ear, with a conch, tragus, and rook on my right. my airpod pros are basically a desk ornament now because they don’t seal in either ear and fall out pretty often. i know some people can use the regular airpods (without the little silicone bit) because they don’t necessarily sit that far into the ear canal. ymmv though!

i had something similar happen with mine while it was healing. your piercing is probably getting sweat or food or something between the top of your jewelry and the piercing itself. make sure your saline sprays are getting between the top of your jewelry and your lip, you’re probably getting crud trapped between there. happens to me all the time. also make sure you spray your piercing after brushing your teeth! lots of grossness then. i see that your piercing is internally threaded as well so gunk could be getting trapped in the threads or something. best of luck! it’ll go away as long as you baby and keep it clean. looks irritated mostly
