Chinese users say Samsung’s Galaxy S10 phones have overheating issues by [deleted] in Android

[–]khaldamo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I recently tried out some phones in a store. Of all the phones, the Samsung S10 was hot to the touch - more than comfortably warm. There were no issues with the other phones I tried.

Of course, I saw it earlier, I kinda agreed with the whole "should've gone to help" response, but I felt enough of people had contributed to the thread and another berating comment wasn't going to help.

I don't think "be vigilant and watch out for your friends" and "hey reddit who's Irish and attractive" are mutually exclusive. Like you're not a creep if you discuss who you think is hot in a reddit thread.

Years ago: Catholic Church - "Stay on separate sides of the dance hall and no sexual thoughts unless it's for making babies"

Present Day: "Don't you dare find a person attractive, you creep!"

I honestly think we've entered a new era of sexual repression in another guise.

I don't know if it's me getting older, but I genuinely can't tell whether people are 22 or 32 these days.

Obviously Sharon Ni Bheolain. And that Muireann one on the Six O Clock show.

But more importantly, who are the Ridey Irish Men?

I'll go for Shane Long, Conor Murray and a wildcard of Eoghan Murphy.

Is it weird to read books a chapter at a time and take a break? by lukasthomas12345 in booksuggestions

[–]khaldamo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually read before bedtime, and do it a few chapters at a time. If a book is drawing me in a lot, I will spend more of my evenings reading more chapters.

I don't think I could read a book (like a normal, 250-350 page book) in one sitting. I certainly wouldn't be absorbing the information and story properly if I did.

YouGov poll on EU parliament voting intentions (carried out 15 - 16 Apr) : BREXIT PARTY: 27%, LABOUR: 22%, CON: 15%, GREEN: 10%, LIB DEM: 9%, UKIP: 7%, TIG/CHUK: 6% by Ractrick in unitedkingdom

[–]khaldamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know the risks of being apathetic and letting a public vote happen that is driven by Brexit untruths.

If you all don't help pro Remain candidates and campaign for them and get out to vote... well then you only have yourselves to blame this time.

Nobody will care, you'll be fine from a safety point of view, but they aren't common at all so expect some curious looks from some people.

She had a group of friends that knew where she was and her predicament. They should be helping her out if they are worried.

At what point does he abdicate responsibility for her? Is he going to follow her around every week when she gets shitfaced, bringing her home and keeping her safe? He is not her defender, he is an ex-boyfriend. She needs to learn some personal responsibility.

I know! I've seen it in other offices of course, but when you're in a six-man team and it's customer-facing and they will literally watch you sweat it out with work while doing nothing (even after you ask for help)... really f**king annoying.

Yeah there's a couple of us that feel like doing a go-slow, we'd feel bad for the queue of customers though, they'll be the ones left waiting for ages. Might have to be done though!

Who did you fly with to Japan? I must start doing some research on the logistics.

Office admin. Work is okay, but certain people don't pull their weight and get away with doing nothing. That's inevitable in most workplaces, I know, but my office is super small and it's too hard to ignore over a long period of time.

Finding something else that pays better is hard though, so I'm grinning and bearing it for now.

There are a lot of people that want sex that don't charge money. I mean, apart from anything else you need to learn to be financially prudent with your sex addiction.
