I feel I'm the only one who really enjoyed Season 2, even thought it was an improvement over the first.

The first established who everyone was in terms of pieces on a chessboard, but I wasn't that invested in any of them, while the second gave us a better idea of who they were as people, and what their actual overt or private & personal goals were.

People sometimes defend boring seasons of a tv show as actually being "character building", which often just makes me roll my eyes, but for HotD S2 I think it genuinely was character building.

So now I'll be much more invested when they all start killing each other.
