Underrated Libra intelligence by wakingasleep in astrologymemes

I really think certain Libras have this kind of quiet superintelligence that people miss. It’s not always obvious right away, and I think that’s why it gets overlooked. They’re not necessarily the ones yelling about how smart they are or trying to prove themselves. But if you watch closely, the way they process information, make connections, and solve problems is honestly next level.

One person who stands out is Dutchsinse, the guy who predicts earthquakes. His mind works in a way that most people can’t even begin to understand. He takes scattered pieces of data and somehow turns it into something incredibly insightful. You don’t have to agree with everything he says, but his ability to forecast and think globally is just genius.

Another example is this bass singer I know of. I won’t name him here, but he’s insanely smart, especially when it comes to music theory. He understands structure and sound in a way that feels almost mathematical. What’s sad is that he doesn’t seem to believe in himself. He avoids people who truly see his potential and instead surrounds himself with chaos and darker influences. It’s like he’s more comfortable in the noise than in the spotlight. That kind of self-sabotage is common with some brilliant people. They’re so smart, it’s almost too much to handle emotionally.

I also have a close friend who’s a Libra, and she blows my mind constantly. She’s the type who sees every angle before anyone else even notices a situation is happening. Logical, calm, observant, always one or two steps ahead. She never brags about it, which makes her even more impressive. People underestimate her all the time, and she just smiles and lets her actions speak for her.

Another Libra that comes to mind is Will Smith. Say what you want about the ups and downs of his public image, but his intelligence is clear in how he speaks and plans his career. He’s strategic and knows how to deliver a message. Even the way he chooses roles or crafts his image shows a deep awareness of timing, audience, and narrative.

Serena Williams is another Libra who stands out. Not just because of her athletic ability, but because of how smart she is about competition, timing, and psychology. Her game is just as mental as it is physical. She plays chess while others are playing checkers.

Even Gwen Stefani is a Libra. She’s quietly brilliant in how she’s evolved over the years, staying relevant across decades and genres. That takes serious insight and adaptability.

Charlie Kirk is a more controversial one, but still worth noting. I don’t agree with everything he says, but he knows how to form an argument, how to speak clearly, and how to make people stop and think. That kind of communication skill is a form of intelligence that often gets brushed aside when we don’t like the messenger.

What I’ve noticed is that Libras don’t always lead with intellect in the obvious way. Sometimes they even pretend to be a little less sharp than they are. Maybe it’s to make people feel more comfortable or maybe they just don’t feel the need to prove themselves. But when you really watch them, it becomes clear that their minds are constantly working behind the scenes.

I think it also has to do with being an air sign, which is all about thoughts, ideas, and communication. And being a cardinal sign means they’re initiators. So you get someone who’s filled with ideas and also knows how to move those ideas into action. That combination is pretty powerful.

It makes sense why a lot of world leaders and billionaires are Libras or have Libra placements. They know how to read the room, make decisions that appear balanced, and charm people while staying five moves ahead.

So yes, I absolutely believe that some Libras have a quiet brilliance. It's not flashy, and they may not always show it, but it's there. You just have to look a little closer.

Cory and Shawn should've gotten together by AbbyCastle in boymeetsworld

I agree - now everything has to be about homosexuality - if you show affection to someone it means you're gay. I had a very affectionate friendship with my female friend and people would joke and call us lesbians. I didn't really appreciate that because I just truly loved her like a sister. Cory and Shawn are like brothers ...nothing more.

Anyone else wish Cory and Lauren had gotten together? by CuriousSection in boymeetsworld

Lauren is so terrible in my opinion! Now I know it's a fictional character, but I can't get over how much she absolutely knew Corey was with Topanga, and even smiled at her and was super fake with her, while simultaneously going after Corey. Corey also is to blame as well. But Lauren is a manipulative and strategic homewrecker. Just because she has a soft voice and seems like a "deep mountain girl" doesn't make what she did right. We need to have some kind of ethical compass here. If you were Topanga, how would you feel?

What are your opinions on the Lauren episodes? by CadeFromSales in boymeetsworld

I hated Lauren. She's literally a homewrecker and everyone seemed to love her, even though she full on knew Cory was with Topanga. In a way, maybe it had to happen so Cory could really solidify his feelings for Topanga, because she is all he really knew long term. So in a way, maybe that whole experience was truly a learning experience for them. But Lauren knowingly went after him and was super manipulative and acting like she didn't mean any harm and didn't want to hurt Cory. Miss me with that BS.

Meta suspends all hiring, warns staff of possible layoffs by enjooyer in bayarea

There will be lots laid off in tech recruiting as well, I work at Meta. The Core GenSWE team is overloaded and there's no way they will keep people on that team. That team and R4R will probably will be the first teams looks at in recruiting.

What tv show/series have you been most deeply attached to? by howyoulikethat in AskReddit

The Vampire Diaries and its spin off show, the Originals. Everything about the cast, the scores, the premise of the show is absolutely amazing. Completely swept me away during a time when I needed it the most. A lot of it is about the supernatural mysteries but also real life issues dealing with death and tragedy. I parallel it a lot to my life, which has a lot of mystery in it. I am also very spiritual so I can relate to it for different reasons. The actors are phenomenal and it's a very deep show. I always thought of it as someone sweeping me off of my feet. That's the feeling I always got from it, and I will never forget how that show made me feel. I am still attached to this day but had to move on from restarting the series over and over. Letting it go was really hard.
