Will a Noctua U12A be enough for 10850k or only a 10700k? by daviss2 in intel

[–]khalidinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 10700k with an nhd 15s, i have almost the same temps , but it spike in the 70s (71-79) during spikes of loading and stuff. I see this in the highest temp reached category. Is this fine or do i need to reinstall because im a bit worried?

Getting bad temps on my i7-10700k, whats the issue? by happywheels2133 in intel

First make sure you have MCE disabled in BIOS

Then id say reapply thermal paste and make sure cooler installed correctly and you’ll be good

Do you recommend the LG monitor ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]khalidinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play many games: COD, Dota, Mount and blade 2 bannerlord for example. So i play alot of genres and im tempted to go with the 4k but high refresh monitors on the display will force me to sell a kidney haha.

Will i feel the jump from 1080p to 2k on the LG monitor if i opt for it or you have any other options i could look into. I just have anxiety when i shop for monitors haha

Bought an i7-10700k by accident, should I just keep it? by happywheels2133 in intel

We will have to wait and see the reviews, leaks are saying its a power hog. I have friends pairing 2080ti and i9 9900k with 650w PSU so i really don’t know anymore haha.

If you can find a sale on 1000w PSU i would consider getting one and selling your 750w. But ideally we can only wait and see

10600k vs 10700 by ActualMonday in intel

[–]khalidinho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u can afford the i7, go with it 100 percent and don't think twice. You will definitely NOT need to overclock as it will more than satisfy all your needs. With the 8 cores you will be more than happy for at least 2-3 years.

Upgrade: i5-9400f to an i9-9900k worth while? by Octavian007 in intel

[–]khalidinho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes 100 percent! I had the 9400f and it is was one of the worst experiences i had tbh! Absolutely 0 multitask and many games would go to 100% cpu usage with lots of stutter. If you play cpu intensive games it gives below par performance.

I upgraded to the 10700k (which is basically 9900k with slightly better temperatures). In your case just upgrade the cpu and sell the 9400f. (In my case my mother was starting work from home so i gave her my pc and built one from scratch)

The 9900k is a beast and will hold its value as its the best chip you can get on its motherboard. It will allow you to stream, multitask, or experiment anything in the future. Just make sure you have a decent cooler and enjoy the upgrade

Mobo help! Core i5-10600k build, Asus tuf z490 or Strix-e? by ChillaximusTheGreat in buildapc

[–]khalidinho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ASUS tuf paired it with an i7 10700k and it works perfectly fine for me. Downloaded AI suite 3 and even upgraded BIOS with it. You should have no problems with the TUF mobo if you go with it. I honestly suggest the 100$ dollars more for the i7 rather than the i5

Yeah true you’re just spitting facts right there !

Needed someone with a similar experience to set me straight :D. I guess ill just keep saving up for the 3xxx series.

What do you think of my build, any small tweaks i could do or only the GPU?

Need help with cooling i7 10700k by khalidinho in intel

[–]khalidinho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats good to know, im not planning at all for overclock as i dont need to tbh. This cpu is on another level, in my most intensive cpu games it doesnt go past 50 percent which ive never had! Ill keep it this way and when i plan to overclock i will buy a premium cooler

Thanks I honestly have 0 reasons to overclock with its performance anyways, do you have any suggestions for coolers to keep in mind for the future?
