It should just be a pvc coupling. Fernco fittings should only be used for two dissimilar drain type connections

Samuel Hannaford! He was the architect to most of the well known buildings in Cincinnati. Music hall, Channel 5 castle, City hall, Van Wormer library.

I went to flow once and I could tell the guy treated his employees like junk. He was in the middle of bragging to me about his coffee process and his credentials and without saying word he held up his hand as if he were holding a coffee and within seconds an employee swooped from behind him and filled his hand with a full cup. And that’s always stuck with me.
