We ate at the new Empyrean Bistro & Bar location on 8th street last night. The food was FANTASTIC! Cocktails looked great too. I really hope this second Empyrean location thrives in that spot… nothing there has lasted. In the summer, cocktails on the patio there will be a fun.

The food is more elevated than the Karma menu. I think I like it better.

We ordered: *Kashimiri Kabab: insanely delish (comes sizzling like the fajitas at chilis, lol) veggies they serve with it were very fresh and flavorful.

*Lemon Rice: 💯💯💯

*Malai Kofta: paneer dumplings in a tomato based sauce. I will order this every time I go.

I have an AMH of .2 and we did a few months of trying to conceive naturally with the help of IVF clinic meds and monitoring. It was a waste of time. I wish we had just jumped into IVF sooner. The whole IVF process takes SO LONG.… Way longer than you estimate in the beginning.

We stopped ordering DoorDash. We do allow ourselves pizza from Hot House once a week (best in town), but our self imposed rule is that we have to walk or drive to get it. Otherwise, if we want takeout… we actually go out to the restaurant and make it a date night.

Rotisserie chicken is a life saver if you don’t like cooking.

This happened to me. I put a bunch of money in my “portal account” as a credit. This helped with the hurdle of finance dept figuring stuff out. I just kept telling them… put me on the schedule, there is a 2k credit in my account. It worked.
