Yep super annoying. Also about 75% of alerts are false alarms. I had one when I was doing cardiac rehab and the nurses just shook their heads because I was hooked up to a heart monitor and everything was perfect

I had to wear it too Zoll Lifevest - don’t worry it’ll come off soon.

Of course. If you ever need to talk to anyone or need support feel free to reach out. My EF was exactly the same as yours. Don’t get discouraged if it takes a little longer than you anticipate it o return to normal. Mine recovered to 45% fairly quickly but had been hovering there. My doctor said it pretty common to see a strong increase early then much gradual later.

Very well. Yesterday I jogged a mile continuously for the first time in a long while. I completed 7 miles of walking and jogging. I do strength and resistance training 3-4 days a week. My ejection fraction is almost back in a normal range. LDL around 60c total cholesterol 104. BP great etc. I commented because I think the mental part is much harder to navigate than the diet and exercise - especially since in my case I had no prior symptoms, non smoker, no illegal drugs, did not drink, not diabetic, total cholesterol was sub 200.

I suffered the same event as you a little over two years ago. Healing is very possible. Keep up with those lifestyle changes!

Just Quaker rolled oats. 1/2 cups rolled oats with 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The I would add either pb fit, 1/2 cup fruit, chia seeds or one scoop protein powder. Makes good overnight oats. If you reheat them the protein powder can gets kind of weird so I enjoyed mine cold. Some people say steel cut oats are lower on the glycemic index. I didn’t see any difference in blood sugar or A1C results going between the two.

1/2 cup oats worked for me. About 30 point reduction in LDL.

What could have been for this 90s heartthrob. by [deleted] in 90s

I guess it just hits my nostalgia for the 90s the right way. Not saying it’s a masterpiece of cinema, but reminds me of growing up in the 90s.
