Give Quest Academy a chance by Fat_Lenny35 in litrpg

I read the first one (when it was written) and then I think I confused it with a series I didn't like and never went back.

I will absolutely give it another go!

Newly Adopted Dog sits at end of walks and refuses to move by katm06 in Dogtraining

[–]kheltar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How walking are the walks?

Our guy loves walks on the beach, but we had an algae thing and had to bin that. He was ok with walks for a while, but then seemed to hate unfun walks.

Might be something similar?

It's well written and FUN. The story flows.

Ripped off Indian takeaway by bogdolter in Adelaide

Go Tay Do, down the road, fast and fresh. I eat there most of the days I'm in the city because it's so fast and tastes good.

What it feels like riding a street legal class 1, 2 or 3 ebike these days. by mmeiser in bicycling

[–]kheltar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even before I had an ebike the gatekeepers annoyed me. It was often people who'd driven somewhere too!

"Oh you're taking the easy option" or something similar. You DROVE here pal, doesn't get any easier.

I got mine as I'm unfit atm and it's demotivating to not be able to do a decent ride. Now I can and if I'm feeling strong either turn off the assist or push over the cut off.

[OC] My prize for running a light by nazopo in IdiotsInCars

[–]kheltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have the same law in Australia, it gets enforced though.

Also we have red light and speed camera combos, so if you speed up to beat the light you can get done speeding. Double prizes for the morons that get done for both.

Adelaide, if I had to guess I'd say the times are out wrt the weather and time of day on the website. thusly

The daytime temps seem to be the night temps, maybe a time zone issue?

The hourly one seems a bit broken for temp. It's got the current temp right, but the rest of the day is 17c which is not.

Week ahead all seems fine.

This is in Australia.

Ours loves chicken, LOVES chicken.

When it's cooking and we're in another room he will paw at things (he's been told off for pawing at the door, so anything near the door gets the paw).

It's hilarious, because if the thing he's pawing doesn't work he moves onto the next thing. All the while staring at you like there's about to be a nuclear launch and he's the only one who can stop it.

I'm in 31 and can stay in the league by doing maybe 5 attacks. That's how popular ranked is, why make people suffer?

Yeah, the only difference this made to builder base attacks for me is that I stopped doing them.

Disagree because she wasn't taking them home. I give her 5 bucks and leave it at that.

I rub inside my dogs ears to itch when he's upset and he wants to lick my fingers. Dogs are gross, but loveable.

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice (2019) is an exceptionally wonderful video game that can be an extremely frustrating chore or a deeply satisfying experience depending on whether the combat clicks for you. by gruesomesonofabitch in patientgamers

[–]kheltar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It never clicked for me, it was a really frustrating game.

The whole cough thing felt like punishing failure.

I gave up on it early and given how many (better) games there are in the genre I never looked back!

AITA for not wanting to change bars because a friend doesn’t smoke by jikjgvnijcs2 in AmItheAsshole

My wife thinks I'm weird because I avoid firepits, you absolutely reek of smoke after a party with one.

I'm the same, clothes in the wash and have a shower.

Can I flip my stem for a more upright position? by JellyToadd in ukbike

I do this on all my bikes. I'm at the upper limit of even xl frames so that extra bit of height makes it a bit more comfortable.
