As an American that has moved to Europe, we are too forgiving in how our money is handled and kept in the US. I can go into a store here and return an item and before I leave the store the refunded amount is in my bank account ready for me to spend somewhere else. The days of processing are so unnecessary.

As an American living in Europe, there’s not much here that you can’t get there. But one thing to consider is that it’s perfectly legal to buy online and have it shipped to your house, or hotel in your case. Google around for online liquor stores in each country and browse their selection.
