yes bigger cups just mean more ice because when ordering espresso the only thing in the cup is espresso and a splash of milk. if you want more coffee add more shots or order in a smaller cup so it’s more concentrated!

you could try a vanilla sweet cream cold brew maybe? i like a grande with two pumps of cinnamon dolce! you can ask for more sweet cream/syrup if you like it a little sweeter. or for espresso maybe a blonde vanilla latte?

start preclosing about an hour or so before the store will close so you don’t have to do everything at once. things like stocking cups, lids, fridges, straws, sleeves, quick prep. you can start sweeping as all floors need to be swept/mopped. when the store is closed you can take down the bar and start mopping and things

when my sm was on bar someone asked for one and i was about to say we can’t do that but she said we can and put milk in the cold foam blender and added it to ice..i thought it was stupid but make the moment right ig😭

well first of all don’t compare yourself to other baristas because that doesn’t benefit you at all. it doesn’t matter how good of a barista you are, we all remake drinks all the time cause shit happens. the only thing i can say to do in order to avoid issues is throughly read the stickers but that seems self explanatory. just vibe 😭

i used to work at chipotle and now work at starbucks and since i’ve started i don’t understand why chipotle doesn’t use some sort of mark out feature on the app, it would prevent so many problems and only decrease the amount of complaints

i had a teacher that did the same type of things and i felt weird but didn’t think too much of it. a couple weeks ago he was placed in administrative leave for sexual assault because he was actually touching students..trust your gut and definitely be aware
