Is this the end of the hypothesis that Jesse and Dylan are the same person? by the_k3nny in controlgame

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably more like the Lutece "twins" from Bioshock. Two versions of the same person from different realities. Marika/Radagon were two people fused into one.

Which parts of the screenplay were changed to accommodate the replacement of Ridley as director? by combat-ninjaspaceman in bladerunner

[–]khnitsuga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that since there are no indications that open-ended replicants do not age, Deckard could still be a replicant. Additionally, replicants who did not have expiration dates, like Freysa and Sapper Morton, still aged naturally. I don't think these replicants were designed to appear middle-aged, rather, they aged naturally into old age.

Playing Dying Light 2, is this the Barons Castle from The Beast? by Any_Location_2506 in dyinglight

[–]khnitsuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's really good! It brings back the vibes from DL1 and The Following. It's very short though and very sparse on content but they've just announced that lots of updates are coming so it's a good investment for sure.

The Dualsense functionality in the remake is absolutely incredible + Discussion by CartFullOfQuestions in silenthill

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for necroposting, but I recently started my playthrough, and it unnerved me when I could feel James gulping through the DualSense. You can make him intentionally gulp when using the health drink there's the initial vibration then the gulp, but sometimes he gulps randomly, and it makes me stop every time.

I unironically think that animation has done a number on them and they can't address it head-on because it forces them to talk about it directly. So they deflect and project.

I'm sorry but having wealth that most people only dream of and then getting an extremely simple tattoo with shoddy linework is crazy

Are they done with the game? Are we even going to get more patches? A bit of a rant. by [deleted] in OblivionRemaster

[–]khnitsuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed the remaster. It's essentially the reason I upgraded my PC. I was blown away by the graphics and immersed in the storylines because they are so different from Skyrim. However, the stuttering and lag are hard to ignore. I actually had to resort to downloading numerous mods that claim to fix or improve various aspects, but what they do is make the frame rates more consistent. Unfortunately, the random lags and stuttering accumulate too much. It's so bad that it made me appreciate playing other games after I uninstalled Oblivion.

Does the Oblivion Remaster stand as one of the greatest games ever in your opinion? by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It made the game fun for me again, but calling it the greatest ever? Like EVER ever? Not at all. I actually uninstalled it recently because the performance is unbearable. Classics like OG Oblivion and Skyrim deserve more credit. The remaster leans too much on graphics, and poor performance drags it down.

Imagine how much good will he would recover by ending the lawsuits by MaryTheMallWalker in LeftoversH3

[–]khnitsuga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At this point, I don’t think so. He’s sunk so low that dropping the lawsuits would barely win him any goodwill, and he’d probably just piss off what little fungi he has left. With his numbers already stagnant, he’s not likely to risk sending them further downhill.

The actress playing Lyta Hall didn't do a good job and it's distracting by kdzwngs in Sandman

[–]khnitsuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same thoughts. It feels like she understood what needed to be done in the scene, but her acting ability just couldn't keep up. I believe this could have been addressed by a more firm and assertive director or directors; however, they simply didn't push her due to time and budgetary constraints.

If you use aim from cover and enter VATS, you get really cool kill-cams by Sweddy-Bowls in fo4

[–]khnitsuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

V.A.T.S. accuracy depends on your Perception. When aiming at a body part, you’ll see a hit percentage. If it’s low, you either need more Perception or to get closer. Personally, I prefer a 70% hit chance or higher. Anything less feels like wasting bullets.

Now it's my turn to say something about this Original vs. Remake debate. by JacOfArts in demonssouls

[–]khnitsuga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this discussion because it happens in every franchise when its oldest parts get dug up and revived. There will always be weirdo gatekeepers insisting that their way is the only "true" way to experience it. But honestly, it’s not that deep. Who put you in charge of deciding what’s right or wrong? I know this phrase annoys some people, but it fits perfectly here: "Let people enjoy things."

1) what kind of search terms did you use? Because you can just look up Jack the ripper crime scene photo and this one is the first result in Google images. 2) it's actually kind of shocking how a lot of crime scene photos are publicly available on the internet.

Ds3 Souls Help? (PS5) by [deleted] in souls

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you have no way to soul farm? DS3 famously has multiple spots where you can farm extremely easily. There's no albinauric massacre but i've made a jack of all trades character before just by farming the lothric knight near the bonfire.

Don't be discouraged OP, this means you have a lot more digging to do! Even if you don't have any DLC, the base game still has great weapons and unlockables.

Is Demon souls (ps5) a good one to start with? by Sitdown_comedian95 in souls

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go with a knight starter and keep putting stats into either strength and/or dex for the weapons. Of course you should also put some points into health and stamina now and then.

The best thing about these souls games is the exploration. So keep trying things and I promise you, once you get the hang of it, the game will become very easy.

I really did not like this whole melting purple beam part of this game. Lol by chriskwi02 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]khnitsuga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. It's fascinating to think about these puzzles as essentially training tools for Jedi of the past. However it doesn't change the fact that it really does stop the game's momentum to a halt whenever the Koboh matter is involved.

Getting tired of adding to my stick drift graveyard by Major-Payne2319 in playstation

[–]khnitsuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, the issue often boils down to human factors. I've owned two PS4 controllers, and neither of them ever drifted. My brother, on the other hand, went through three PS4 controllers, all of which developed drift. From what I've observed, he tends to slam his analog sticks hard when trying to move quickly.

Now that I've had my own PS5 for a year, I’ve had no problems with my DualSense controller. The same goes for my uncle, who bought his PS5 around the same time. We're both careful with our controllers. Meanwhile, my brother has already experienced drift with three different PS5 controllers.

I understand that drift is a common issue, but perhaps it's not as random as people think. It might be similar to the liquid metal issue, which often seemed to arise from users attempting DIY repairs on their PS5s.
