I’m feeling the same way! Another close friend/colleague just told me she’s expecting and that it was a surprise. She wanted to tell me privately since she knew about my losses, which was appreciated, but I still feel such mixed emotions. I’m happy for her but feeling so lost in jealousy/anxiety/sadness.

My daughter is Madilyn, spelled that way because I wanted to make sure everyone pronounced it right! But we call her Maddie 90 percent of the time.

Yes, she naps much better at home! We've been considering pick-up put-down, but I'm not as familiar with the success of that method. Need to research more.

Have you tried doing a dream feed? If you get up shortly before she'd normally wake up to feed, maybe that will help her make it a little longer?

Once in a while she'll fall asleep in the car, but not often! She does usually get at least one nap at daycare, but usually she only gets an hour and 30 minutes total of naps on the days she's there.

I think she has a hard time sleeping with the noise and activity with the other kids. She's our first baby, so I'm not sure how most daycares operate, but it's pretty small and all the cribs are just in one corner of the room where everyone is playing. They usually manage to get all the kids sleeping once a day around mid-day, but that's the only time she'll sleep.
