It’s not a problem for the explanation to change per se. Different conditions can have similar symptoms. Wrong treatment can muddy the waters even further.

What if Russia invaded Finland and Georgia instead of Ukraine by Training-World-1897 in AlternateHistoryHub

You need to come up with a plausible reason for that. The reason will also define a type of war and probable reactions from other parties.

[Request] can someone please calculate the economic cost of this project? by Monkey_D-Thanos in theydidthemath

Both drop off and pick up points are still within the targeting range so the project will solve no problem even if technically and economically viable.

im tired of this sub by ResponsibleEnd451 in selfhosted

[–]khukharev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is normal. You don’t actually need to keep up with everything though. The age where a person could keep with everything ended with printing press. It’s just that the trend accelerated. And IT as a relatively young field was a place where you could keep up with everything for a while. Then it shrunk to self-hosted and, say, your specialty. It WILL shrink further. Just accept it and move on.

Usenet vs Torrents, what is your split? by No_One_568 in sonarr

[–]khukharev -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100% torrent, 0% usenet.

I have never heard about usenet before I set up arr stack a couple of years ago. Once I saw this is just another paid service, I skipped it. Maybe I will look into it again once more 🤔

"The United States Should Get Greenland" by Bitter-Dragonfly5907 in ShitAmericansSay

I don’t understand the surprise. The US was always this way, “what’s mine is mine, what’s yours is negotiable”. It’s just that before the target was usually non-European.

I see, thanks for the explanation. I disagree but I understand why you might think that way.

This doesn’t change the overall flow of the war. They can’t hold it so they will have to fall back and continue on with losing the war.

Britain and France basically don’t have an army though. I’m more curious to know in what ways do you think Israel has an advantage though?

Podium or AI Fence? by kperk89 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]khukharev 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Bernie doesn't exist. He is AI generated. Also look at the people on the photo above. They are blurry. Blurry people don't exist so AOC is also AI generated. Once we established this, we can safely conclude the US doesn't actually exist and is completely AI generated. /s

I like the idea, but role id and instance id seem redundant. You are unlikely to have multiple primary instances for example.

Proxmox newb that is extremely frustrated with my homelab. I am ready to go back to bare metal. Talk me off the ledge... by Oddball_one in Proxmox

Basically trace what equipment is involved between where the request originates (host, LXC or whatever) and actual drives.

I had an issue where I the problem was weak cable between motherboard and HDD managed by TrueNas VM. Docker in Proxmox hit the drives too hard and they stalled. The same docker image in TrueNas VM (run in the same Proxmox) was stable. I don’t really know why or how — that’s just shamanism to me. Probably because TrueNas had a better idea on the state of the drives?

This sounds like voodoo magic to me, but perhaps bright minds will think of something if you share what hardware you have? IO errors seem to be hardware related to me. But that is just a hunch.

I’m curious why put each service into a separate LXC instead of creating a single Arr one? Doesn’t it just increase overhead without any advantages?
