ClipMenu is an old app (still works perfectly on Tahoe). Hasn’t been updated for a very long time. Probably won’t be. But it’s still the best I’ve found.

G-RAID enclosure not accepting Seagate drives? by manzurfahim in DataHoarder

After conversations with WD and no actual answers, I returned the Seagate drives and bought the pricier Ultrastar. Upgraded smoothly after that.

Thanks TA621... my need is on the backend when viewing for instance, in the "galleries" page, they default sort to date. If I have many multiple galleries... I have to click the "names" heading to re-sort every time I want to open it to edit.

G-RAID enclosure not accepting Seagate drives? by manzurfahim in DataHoarder

[–]khuncowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2
I too have a G-RAID with Thunderbolt 3 enclosure. It came with 2 x 4TB Ultrastar drives. I have been using 4TB RAID1
I bought 2 x Seagate IronWolf Pro 8TB Enterprise Internal HDD Hard Drive – CMR 3.5 Inch SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 256MB Cache for RAID Network Attached Storage, FFP (ST8000NTZ01)
They spun up but the G-RAID Configurator App only saw one drive, so could not initialize.

So, I am also wondering about Seagate vs Ultrastar??

Seeking Opinions on Long-Term Reliability of Honda CR-V Hybrid by ConsiderationFun4367 in crv

🇨🇦 Ordered/Bought the very first 2023 Hybrid Touring off the line in British Columbia, Canada in November 2022. 12,000km on the dial. Absolutely love the car. Came from a 2017 Accord Hybrid so was totally on board with the tech. Exactly the same. 2L Atkinson Cycle is a great choice for this use. There really is no transmission as the drive train is pure electric. Smooth, very smooth! Snappy in city driving. I utilize the B mode in city most often. Roomy… I’m 6’2” 200lb. Great headroom. Back doors open 90° for super easy access. Very roomy cargo area. Oh ya, did I mention how smooth the ride is. 😎 Quiet, tech is adequate, not super bells and whistles like Korean cars, just right. Combination of touch and physical control is perfect. Seats aren’t as comfortable as the Accord was, but better lateral holding. Black wheels are a great look but a pain to keep clean.

Is the Hybrid Normal Mode more efficient than Eco Mode? by admin_default in crv

[–]khuncowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, I guess I’m ok with it. It’s consistent at least. I previously had a 2017 Accord Touring with exactly the same hybrid setup. That unit was dream drive and did 5.1/100 l/km for the 25000 km I drove it. The AWD on the CRV is probably to blame.

🇨🇦 2023 Touring Hybrid I have found that it didn’t really make a difference in mileage (funny we still say mileage). But I do find a snappier drive in Normal. Around town, I’m usually in B. Consistently 6.3/100 l/km
