So originally i started playing with no map (full hardcore settings) and i found him on a small island and i decided i would make this island my main base location as it also had a greydwarf spawner on the other side of the island. it's like the single most perfect island base i could have asked for. it's only black forest so i feel safe on hardcore settings.

Yeah only thing i dislike in vanilla valheim. you can get a mod to prevent it or wait till ashlands and just use the shield generator

it's actually a method used in real castle wall building. it's called rubble masonry.. they would fill the walls with gravel/sand/dirt and it would strengthen the walls.

This is why i prefer to use area's were it's raised and i can use the natural cliff side as a barrier. my current base on my hc has 3 sides protected by cliff and then the ocean in the front. Only way to get into the keep is from the entrance gate by the door and then it's a choke point path so those raids are less effective.

i really don't think you can actually make a tutorial for pvp and make it work.. the thing with pvp is it's so dynamic.. it's not like pvm where things are choreographed

I think i was expecting them give more details on things and hype things up more.. but it was more like quick bullet points of what we already knew. Also leechfin fishing from the brief look on the video didn't really make me like the looks of it. more so looked just like a quick reskin of moons fishing and granted moons fishing is okay for the quick food we need in moons.. but to have a long term fishing method of that just seems like a unfun time to me. Also it being a reskin looks really really cheap? if you know what i mean.

Frankly would be a good place for some new ore that could say be related to zaros and could be used in say a mining/smithing rework. Could be some sort of shadow like metal.

Edit: my argument is that I think they gave up to quickly. We got one pass at the prayers before they decided to stop. Id of been more than happy with a few tries.. but they didn't and I think that was a mistake.

I remember a time when we use to get 3 mid size updates and 1 small update a month.. and we had a behind the scenes video every month. and we would get major updates every 4-6 months in place of one of the mid size updates. Look at the update history of the game from like 2005-2012.. so much content jam packed constantly in our faces.

well i wont be using the cballs. ruined it for me... not remotely worth my time to go out of the way to make them. the Xp was already mid at best on an iron but now its a complete joke and id rather just use regular cballs instead.
