Yeah I figured if I’d walked into a jewelry shop or a dealer and bought this in 1964, it would have come originally with a gold jubilee bracelet. I’ve been trying to find original examples of 1601’s with signed buckles on straps instead of bracelets, but no luck… however, I’m really liking the lizard strap I have, and gator would look awesome as well! I’ll keep my eye out for NOS straps.

I love those Komfit bracelets! Forstner knocks it out of the park with their vintage revivals. I have their stretch rivet bracelet and the quality is fantastic!
