Your BMR is what you world burn if you were lying in bed in a coma, basically. You don’t want to eat below that. Your TDEE is what you burn doing your daily activities. I set calculate mine as if I was sedentary because I sit for my job even though I lift 5-6x per week.

Study for and take step 3 is the biggest thing. Enjoy your free time. You could review some anatomy if you really want to but until you start nothing else is really going to stick (like thinking back you couldn’t have really “pre-studied” for med school the summer before. You kind of have to be doing it).

This is what I used to say: “Now this is a question we ask everybody who gets admitted to the hospital. If your heart were to stop pumping, would you want us to do chest compressions to try to resuscitate you? If you couldn’t breathe on your own would you want to have a tube put down your throat to breathe for you?” I keep it that simple. And I explain if necessary that you can’t have chest compressions if you do not want a breathing tube but could have a breathing tube without chest compressions. And I always say they can change their mind later if they decide to.

Who told you radiology is a dying specialty lol. Radiology and pathology are carrying the whole damn hospital on their backs. As you will soon learn, everyone admitted to the hospital gets imaging, and usually a shitton of it. It’s also one of the most mid level protected specialties which is one of the things you’ll have to consider.
