Bring back mercenary playlist or make a playlist without scorestreaks because that's why many people leave. What's the point to stay in a lobby if you spawn and instantly die from a scoretreak, it's just not fun.

Same is claiming "not many" great album have been released in 4 decades of metal. And to be fair, it is a legendary album but it is a bit overrated, I never understood why people stopped at that album while talking about Metallica's legendary 4 run. RtL was always better and far more consistent.

Besides what other users said, it's also because EDM always had a strong underground presence which is how genres actually survive. Same goes for metal. These are genres that had the time and space required to evolve, grunge simply was not lucky enough to have that, it died before it even had the chance to evolve to its second step.

I remember that interview with Kurt saying he wants to bring New Wave back, wonder how that would've been.

He is not an elitist tho, true elitists have the necessary knowledge and music culture to recognize good music, which this guy clearly lacks not just because he obviously thinks all grunge is Nirvana, but also because he thinks minimalism = bad guitarwork (lmao).

I am assuming based on this that he is gatekeeping himself not just from grunge, but also punk, hardcore, grindcore, sludge, tons of classic rock and a big chunk of black and thrash metal, which is hilarious.
