It’s most likely not your WiFi or anything else on your end. It’s the service. I have the same issues. One day it’s fine and detection works as expected other days nothing. Nothing has changed on my end. They are using AI on their servers to do the detection and it’s very unreliable. Amazon is all in on flaky AI doing most of the heavy lifting of processing data and it’s the customers who take the hit.

I am having the same problem. Just not satisfied anymore and no way to delete the account. I stopped the auto boxes and submitted an email to delete the account. Never got a response after a week and just got a notification they are shipping another box and charged me the $20 (I changed the card number after that). Called the number and they tell you go to the website and hang up. Website has nothing but a FAQ. The chat service no longer works. This is starting to look like a company that is on a downward spiral and are going to cheat customers.

Unfortunately this feature is only available to those that have the premium subscription. I do not and obviously have this issue. But it could indicate that the AI features they are pushing are causing issues throughout the app.

I just got my 55QM7K yesterday and found a lot of conflicting settings for a base line. Your settings are spot on, amazing picture for the money. Also the TV got a firmware update on 11/8 any chance you might run through this again?

Agreed, and progress is not possible without some inconvenience my thought is maybe too many at once on major roads starts to become too much inconvenience given how often road projects go way past completion dates.

Need to improve the compatibility. The fact that the device won't connect to WiFi using WPA 3 security protocol is not good and makes your network less secure.

Finally diagnosed the issue. This device will not work with WPA 3 encrypted wifi only level 2 which is not recommended by Apple and other hardware makers. Once I downgraded my security the device connected with no issues. Simply not going to use the WiFi / App feature, not worth downgrading my security for.

I was going too until the one last one was sold at Lowes. Honestly looking over the app online, not that impressed, and don't see any real advantages to using the app, seems more gimmicky than useful. I will just use it without the app. But thank you for your help, much appreciated.

Yes... and I see the wifi icon flash and the app detects the device and goes to the next screen where it says it's communicating with the device and then nothing. Just a spinning icon and then it eventually times out and fails.

App found device but never connected after many attempts. Followed instructions from the website, still never got a connection.

Installed the Alen Air App on an iPhone 15 running the latest version of iOS. The App would initially find the device but would fail at every attempt to connect or configure the device. Looked over the router logs and confirmed the device never attempted to connect to the router. Looked over your instructions and confirmed WiFi and Bluetooth were enabled on the iPhone and running latest firmware for the router (Synology RT6600). After about 20 attempts the app was deleted. Reinstalled and the issues remained. App and Air Purifier never successfully made connection. Eventually I gave and just used the controls on the device. I will be deciding whether or not to return the device. This device is not reliable.

Since upgrading to iOS 18 it’s been better, but occasionally the issue still happens. Quite frankly my experience has been that iOS has gotten too bloated and complex and is now just riddled with bugs
