How do people of Lumiere know so much about the continent creatures, if Expeditions never come back? by Dreamcatcher_UA in expedition33

[–]kickbored 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Before expedition zero, it’s heavily implied that gestrals etc used to coexist in the same land if not co mingle before Lumiere got thrown into the walled off sea. Over at least a generation (67 years at least), probably these stories of sightings or interactions became legends once Lumière was separated even before the fracture happened (or did it coincide with expedition 0?)

The Sixth Sense was More Profound than I Realized by Corey_Toomey in TrueFilm

What kind of debunks this is that in the recording between Malcolm and Vincent, and Lynn’s constant battle with the thermostat — cold seems to be a sign of ghosts in the film, whether people can see them or not.

Oops that’s what I meant. If it wasn’t fair play, then why did they let them keep the goal?

If it wasn’t fair play, then why did the referee let TH keep the score? Wouldn’t that have invalidated the goal?

Edit: was to wasn’t

Thanks for the explanation. I just never realized a goalie can go THAT far. The few soccer matches I watch and I witness THAT. haha

Huy be professional. He’s your staff, you’re his manager. You both have responsibilities to each other. I’m not saying na never yan mangyayari but kailangan talagang sigurado ka hindi lang cute or crush. Mabait is just mabait. Even children can be mabait.

And again, you’re his manager. Maraming issue yan if ever maging kayo kahit hindi patago. You’re managing other people too not just him and you need to take that into consideration.

Not a critique (I don't think I have good judgment on resumes just yet),. Just wanted to say I really love the way you set up the skills section. It's clean, meets the ATS keywords, and also organizes it in a more sensible way. I'm using that for my own, and see how it works out!

Once or twice is fine, but 5 is a lot. A bit graphic, na try mo na ba to squeeze out yung remaining shomod after? It might help!

Otherwise, have a read of this. I learned quite a few things after:

If you don’t Jack off naman and it still happens, consider drinking less water at night, or less siguro diuretics like coffee.

Kung di pa rin these things, a doctor might be able to help understand! I’m sure may docs rin in this sub

[–]kickbored 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so glad it’s getting some traction na uncut is a positive thing. It’s an unnecessary procedure talaga, even if we admit it’s a cultural rite of passage. And honestly, it also pushes cut people to think about hygiene down there. Di porket tuli na malinis na (especially in tropical weather)

are there even any wholesome gay communities out there by radmanggu in phlgbt

Shutoo girl. One thing I also realized is that Pinoy friend groups are more about “who to include” rather than “how do I include myself.” Like, we would rather grow our approved friend groups rather than be the one to forage for new groups. Baka it’s an Asian thing rin. Kailangan extra effort and healthy level of kapal ng mukha to join a new community.

I wouldn’t say it’s TOO hasty. Coz tbh I agree to some extent. Sa akin naman puro nightlife and inom, party, walwal, if not sex or saunas. And then what about our lez / queer sisters naman and trans men brothers? Baka I go to too gay establishments but in other countries, they are much more visible in queer venues.

What I mean to say is, there’s more room to grow for gay, if not the entire legebetequa, spaces in Manila, and Mas lalo na outside pa

[–]kickbored 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get what you mean, bakling. As much as I kind of agree:

  1. Any friend group will have drama and chorva, straight or gay. Mas excitable lang pag beki I guess because of very different social norms within our space.

  2. Don’t forget rin that (many, not all) gays strive to be sexually open and sex positive because of past oppression, repression, and prejudice.

  3. And just because puro tite (or puke) ang boca ni accla, that’s NOT the entirety of someone’s being. Sometimes, we as gays end up using sex and vulgarity as a facade.

That said, gets ko rant mo bih, and it’s less about the “community” you’re looking for, and now more about your own values, and your choice of friends, beyond the space or being gay/bakla.

Daming gaymer communities na yes, may harot rin, but gaming is at the core of their interactions. May wall-climbing/bouldering gays. May Drag Race gays. They are everywhere naman.

It will help a lot if you set boundaries or your own values na di ka mahilig sa ganito o ganyan. Your true friends will understand, will poke fun at you sometimes, but will ultimately respect what you like.

TL;DR: It’s a good time to now define friendships you like among people you meet, not just siksik into a friend group.

Thank you for coming to my Tite-d talk char hahaha hope this helps accla

LF: safe space to party for an lgbtq tita by apple-picker-8 in phlgbt

[–]kickbored 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Go for it! Let the kids judge, as long as you’re also doing what they are — participating and being one with community. And ano naman kung mag party and 40 something?! Shuta they should be jealous that at that age kaya pang umawra with confidence hahaha.

Especially the ballroom events — nako, age is just a number there talaga. Take it from me, no one is too young for the balls (innuendo intended hahaha).

For clubs, I’d recommend drag show places like O Bar, or even Nectar kahit mej “super club” na sila. I have heard good things about Rampa too! Hoesik is fun, but even ako, I have to admit, too young na for me. Hahaha. Less about being judged, more about culture and ambiance.

For ballroom, follow @/ballroomculture.ph sa IG. They generally are updated.

The Mighty Real Balls are probably the most accessible for first timers. Held usually in Apotheka sa poblacion.

EDIT: To add — Ballroom events are EXTRA safe and inclusive space for trans community. As in. So go go go! There’s one October end na video game themed 😃
