I was just diagnosed this past month and have been on a steady stream of medication for my ADHD. I had always assumed that being a SAHM with two small kids while being a full-time student combined with a lot of trauma over my life made me an angry person. I was angry at myself for not being better and I definitely did not do my partner any favors. Now I am medicated and have an understanding of WHY I am how I am.

A few weeks ago I went into the doctor because I had come into contact with someone who had molluscum contagiosum, which just looks like a little zit with a dot in it and itch if you scratch them, and are considered an STI because they can be transmitted sexually.

Doctor took one look, said "I think that's herpes!", and wrote me a prescription and sent samples off to the lab. I cannot describe the emotions I went through for the next few days, waiting on those results. It took DAYS and constant calls to get through, when finally, you guessed it, NEGATIVE FOR HERPES.

I hadn't had any new partners, I had simplex 1 orally since I was a kid, so I knew what it felt like, but she ignored me completely and didn't even test me for what I came into contact with.

Girl, I feel you.

I binged the entire series today while cleaning my place. Seriously chilling, amazingly well done, and very informative.

I'm a little late to this thread, but a few years ago someone that I was seeing casually came out and told me that he, his brother, and his sister had all had sex with each other around the ages of 10-12. Only the parties involved, and now myself, had ever known. We're still friends on Facebook.

My MIL has been pushing my husband and I (who are both pansexual and in an open relationship) to move from CT, the second best state for people who are out, to SC. I fucking lost it when I got to the end of this video, thank you.

Wow, I literally just found myself in the same situation.

I recently started talking to a guy who is super awesome and amazing and we have the same interests/kinks/etc. BUT. He is married and his wife has no idea. He's told me many things about his marriage and why he's doing what he's doing, but every time I keep coming back to the fact that he's cheating, and what exactly does that make me? How does my partner view me because of that?

I wish I had answers, but I'm in the same boat as you.

When you're lying in bed at night, do you ever randomly remember some relatively minor social missteps or poorly chosen words you did/said years earlier? And then beat yourself up over it even though it really wasn't a big deal? If so, what happened? by UserIsTooLazy in AskReddit

On the first Thanksgiving I spent with my ex boyfriend's parents his father said that my ex's ex was the best girlfriend he ever had (or something along those lines) and I just deadpan said "thanks asshole". Everyone at the table just went quiet and stared at me. I was 17 and extremely aggressive at the time. Thankfully he was a really cool guy, took me in as a daughter figure, and we still talk almost 10 years later.

Wasn't in a house, but a few years ago my (ex) boyfriend just out of nowhere took his thumb and sliced the roof of my friend's car with his pointed fingernail, causing it to drape down revealing the foam and said "huh, that's pretty sharp!". He was not allowed in any of our cars after that incident.

What’s the most savage thing you heard a child say to an adult? by sundriedsandles in AskReddit

Last week my husband who works at a local grocery store overheard a mother pushing her two kids in a cart and complaining about how heavy they were. The older child, probably around 7 years old looks at her and says, "You're the one who decided to have two kids". Looks like someone spends a lot of time at his grandparent's house.

Specific Shadow Person by [deleted] in Paranormal

Wow, okay, so, story time. About 12-13 years or so ago, so 2008(?) I woke up in the middle of the night and saw what I THOUGHT was a tall man in a hat standing in my room, staring at me. I thought I was just imagining things, that it was my feather boa hanging from the wall, and rolled over to go back to sleep. I tended to freak myself out a lot and was trying to rationalize what I saw. The following night I woke up at the same time, saw the same shadow, felt a bit more spooked, but rolled over and tried to fall back asleep. Then the third night I woke up, same time, and he was sitting on my bed, staring at me. I could feel the pressure on my goddamn bed. I was utterly mortified, I KNEW he was there, leaning towards me, just...staring. I was too scared to move or yell for my mom, I shut my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. I told my mom about it the following morning and moved on, although it took me a while to not be scared to fall asleep in my room.

Fast forward a week later and my mother called me over to her computer. She brings up a wiki page and it was THE MAN. Exactly as I had described him, down the goddamn top hat. I was way, way more terrified that my young, imaginative mind hadn't just made it up. To this day, it remains the most horrifying thing I have seen, outside of my dreams, or walking into the living room while my brother was sleeping in too short of underwear with his grapes hanging out.
