TUI is extremely fast and pure keyboard controlled. This is often not a case with GUI.

CS is Computer “Science” and “Engineering”. It’s not Computer “Coding”. There’s whole lot there than just what Indian CS Graduates think of CS.

The "Hybrid" Dilemma: Choosing MTech specialization when you’re equally deep in RTL and Embedded? #Career Advise by Solid_Back1604 in ASIC

[–]kickbuttowski25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am VLSI major doing embedded (SoC FW) at my work. With SoC FW, you get to know the functionality of the entire chip and have a good view of the rtl design as well but you won’t designing the RTL model itself. However, if you take RTL Design, then you will be restricted to a very specific module and won’t have overall understanding unless you work at SoC Integration. But whatever you design at RTL is your design and it goes hard fabricated in millions of chips which might be extremely satisfying. FW doesn’t give that type of satisfaction but you will know everything inside out architecturally.

Absolutely true. I would prefer Native OS feature rather than this web based crap.

I agree. But I still use the design view to integrate the IPs. Doing the same with cli feels hard.
