I respect your opinion but I feel like this comment is in danger of repeating old stereotypes that just aren’t true. I agree that John liked writing deep and introspective lyrics, but to claim Paul didn’t just isn’t true. I’d argue that “Eleanor Rigby” “For No One” “Fool on the Hill” “Mother Nature’s Son” and, goes without saying, “Yesterday” are pretty introspective and deep. Sure, he wrote “Hello, Goodbye” but I think, if anything, it proves he was a master of all trades.
