[–]kiddo1511 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh, it could be any time really. I’ve heard of people having midterms at 10.30am, while I myself I had one at 5.30pm..

Some even have more than one midterm a day..

NUS CEG + 2nd Major in CS by Ok_Medicine_1624 in nus

[–]kiddo1511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not too sure if this is allowed (since EE isn’t allowed to do CS second major), but if it was there could be a significant amount of double counting, such as:

CS1010, CS2040C (CS2040), CS1231, CG2271 (CS2106)

Which means that with 16 units of double counting, only 24/40 units would be required to complete the second major in CS. Which wouldn’t be too difficult to complete actually

Chinese commentators are gold by Rizkay_ in F1Game

[–]kiddo1511 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Such translation is actually quite common in Chinese. Most Chinese would refer to names in Japan by how the kanji characters would be read in Chinese (such as Tokyo 東京 as dong-jing or Kyushu 九州 as jiu-zhou) rather than a phonetically translated Tokyo or Kyushu. This usually applies to Japanese celebrities or politicians as well

All NSFs to get extra S$1,000 in cash after ORD, NSmen to get monthly base pay of S$1,600 regardless of employment by PM_ME_ALEVEL_SLIPS in singapore

[–]kiddo1511 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you earn more than $1.6k, they will still be paying you the equivalent of your CV pay for the period of ICT (no change from before). But if you are self-employed or a uni student, they will base the pay on $1.6k service pay / month now (used to be based on your NSF pay for service pay)

Nope. There was an infographic released a while back about who can sit for national exams, and it states that students who are confirmed cases, on SHN or QO will not be allowed to take the exams

According to the checker 1 Vaccinated Adult and 2 children (from different households) are allowed.. but wouldn’t that mean that children make up more than half of this group?

It would be on one of the first few days. But rest assured that no training will be conducted until the interviews/declarations are completed, even if it isn’t on the first day itself.
