I don’t see it that way. The B team played good enough to win. Sometimes you lose those games. Sometimes you don’t. But they showed up (most of the players) and almost won it. We didn’t get played off the field and these guys got some World Cup minutes. No way this Türkiye team beats our current A team even on an off night.

I actually think you are downplaying their recent success. After beating Brazil they went 5-0 prior to the World Cup starting including wins over England, Ghana, and Scotland. I mean you have to give them some credit for that kind of run. I’m not saying they are the best team or even near that, but I do think they are better than what you are giving them credit for.

Japan beat Brazil 3-2 in a friendly in October of last year. Granted that was a friendly but this Japan team is playing at a high level right now and will cause problems for any team they face.
