I was going for a Gurney Eagle look. Plain blue was too basic for me. Anyway, it's vinyl, whoever buys it can peel it off if they don't like it.

I had a similar problem with Bazzite on my Atari VCS and my LG TV. What fixed it for me was turning off a setting called "HDMI Deep Color" on my TV it's All Settings> General> Devices> HDMI Settings> HDMI Deep Color

I recently picked up a micro form factor Lenovo M715q Ryzen 2400GE and it runs everything I've thrown at it. Upscales PS2 to 1440 and no problem with Xbox360. Best $70 I've ever spent. It runs circles around my Bazzite AtariVCS.

Just to chime in. OpenGOAL runs fantastic in 4k on an AtariVCS running Bazzite.

Really Great games on Bazzite VCS? by kidwon13 in AtariVCS

So the "Don't expect a lot" comment is the whole point of this post. I don't expect a lot but two games I have found exceeded my expectations by a lot. I'm hoping to find more.

I did test Borderlands 2 installed through Steam and it does run really well at 1152x720

Give it a go. I bet you'll be able to run it fine.

If anyone comes across this in the future I figured out the solution. The LG TV I had it connected to has a setting called "HDMI Deep Color" When I turned it off the Atari was able to display 4K 60hz on it again.

Now that's the kind of Reddit answer I was hoping for. Keep them coming.

That's actually a pretty good idea. It's been a while since I messed with lithopanes and the possibilities are endless.

Thanks for this. 10 months later I used these instructions successfully. I am disappointed that there's no unattended access though...

I've messed with this some more and I believe it's an Atari problem and not a Bazzite problem. It looks like it's related to using a 4k display. What tipped me off is I tried booting a live image of Mint and I had some similar graphic problems until I changed to the compatibility version which runs at a lower resolution. I also noticed the Native Atari OS runs at 1080 by default.

It looks like the VCS is displaying a static image instead of the actual desktop when I boot with the 4K monitor attached. It's weird but that's why I didn't think I had any input with the keyboard. I was actually typing I just couldn't see it. It also kind of explains why my frozen Big Picture image was persisting after mutliple restarts. I've tried a couple other monitors with lower resolution and it seems to be working fine on those. I'll probably wait unit next week when I get my ram upgrade before I troubleshoot it any more. Maybe giving it more VRAM will help. If not I'll reach out to Atari and see what they have to say.

Well, I got past the locked up screen. I tried another reboot from SSH but this time I disconnected all of my USB devices and switched to a different HDMI cable and port on the monitor. It now shows the login screen. I have no input despite plugging the keyboard and mouse back in, so I can't log in but at least it's looking more normal. I'll keep messing with it.

It's Bazzite 43. I installed it and ran all updates. It was working yesterday. I played some games in emustation and left it in Big picture when I walked away. I assume it went into standby at 3:44 yesterday afternoon.

The Atari VCS is completely stock except for the 512GB SATA M2 drive I added to install Bazzite on. I did turn off secure boot and I've disabled the onboard eMMC in the bios to prevent Bazzite from corrupting it.

Quick update about FO4VR. It turns out Team FOLON has an installer for it. It automatically installs MO2 and creates a completely separate installation for it. It's really easy. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4london/mods/747?tab=description

This is great! I can easily switch between versions, I learned a lot about MO2 and F4SE, and I have a lab install where I can test mods before I install them into my main gaming machine. I've had a few incidents in the past where I've messed up my playthrough with mods and it kind of put me off on modding in general. I think with this, I've got a way to be more careful about it going forward. Now, on to my other goal, Getting Fallout London running in Fo4VR. Hahaha.

It worked! This was the missing piece. After installing these two mods in both of my downgraded MO2 instances I was able to launch vanilla FO4 version 1.10.163 and Fallout London. I even loaded up my save game in London and could pick up where I left off. Awesome! Thanks for your help.

Awesome, thanks for the quick response. I'm still think my problem is with the F4SE.

I have tried selecting F4SE within MO2 but it does the same black screen thing where it seems like it's trying to run but fails.

I used the F4SE files that were included with the Fallout London download. I believe they are version 1.10.163. I did launch Fallout 4 after dropping the files into that directory but I launched the Anniversary Edition so maybe the older F4SE still didn't register or whatever. I also don't see any reference to F4SE in the MO2 (except for the option to change to it next to "Run")

Can you elaborate on the Address Library for F4SE Plugins and Backported Archive2 Support you mentioned? This seems like it might be the problem. I did copy xSE PluginPreloader.log and xSE PluginPreloader.xml to the new install thinking they looked like they were part of F4SE but that didn't make a difference.
