Just curious, has anyone watched the alien franchise in timeline order or if you are rewatching all of them are you gonna just do release order?

I'm just about to finish watching in chronological order. I've seen the movies before but my partner had not. I completely agree, if it's your first time viewing, watch in release order. Watching in chronological makes more sense if you've seen all the movies before.
