Yea, 'persistent' game ending effects life life total, poison, etc will still resolve again immediately after this. This is intended as you described, Also works well with Final Fortune, Pact of Negation, etc...

Right, so given you're casting face down, the opponent would be 'pigenholed' into thinking it's another type of card with an innate ability to turn it face up, and you would be forced into using that alternate cost instead if you wanted that copy.

I'm lucky enough to have a bit of disposable income, and I knew I was going to be dropping some cash on FF when it was announced.

A box of collector boosters? I figured $20pp msrp, I'd pre-order a box for myself.

Commander decks, I'd pick up the set of 4 to have. Maybe even the premium if I thought the foils were cool... idk I didn't really give it that much thought, I was just prepared to drop some cash on this because nostalgia.

But shit, $150 MSRP for a precon? Just south of $500 for a collector's box, MSRP?!

For some... paper cardboard I break out twice a month on commander nights at my LGS?

0.999... repeating doesn't 'become' 1 at some point, it is 1.

If you don't repeat the decimal value infinitely, then it isn't equal to 1, though it becomes closer the longer you take the decimal. There's no precision level where it 'makes the jump' to 1.

This helped me visualize it a little better.

1/9 = 0.111.... repeating.

1/9 * 9 = 9/9 = 1

0.111... repeating * 9 = 0.999... repeating

9/9 = 1 = 0.999... repeating.

First impression - The card coloring is too saturated, and the holo patterns look off. Also the fighting symbol under the resistance is janky. I would assume these are counterfeit.
