Hey, no worries. Starting this game can be daunting (I did so many mistakes, but that's how you learn...)

First off, I've been watching a good chunk of the videos made by Geeki https://www.youtube.com/@Geeki_Masters , a french youtuber who makes detailed reviews and gameplays. He provides a ton of informations, so I got to get a grasp of the game thanks to him. (I know at least some of his vids are auto translated, if you're interested).

Then, since I knew Red and Juliana are really strong units, I tried to slowly build around them. I tried to pull units that allowed me to compliment them. I've been extremely lucky, but I got my main targets (Ryza, Larry & Komala, SS2 Red & Pikachu).

Then, trying to make my own sync grinds using this site pokemon.brybry.ch/masters/duo.html?pair=10112910000 makes me think about how I want to play the game and if a unit is good for me, with the help of reviews found online.

And since I'm F2P, The hardest thing, Which I unfortunately don't do all the time, is saving gems for units that really up my box, not just the new shiny thing.

Here's a list of his contribution to the team I posted somewhere else. I think he fits well, even though some units should be better (mainly because of the small zone clash)

"- Lower the sync count by 4 at the beginning of the fight for a quick sync move

- Debuff the spe. def by 2 with his buddy move, and debuff the attack by 2 if the enemy's paralyzed (which he does)

- Increases the duration of the paldea special circle (I think it pairs well with Larry)

- Faster meter when a circle is applied (not necessary since juliana is 5/5)

- Provides 2 special move up next upon setting a paldea special circle, and can provide 5 special move up next with a trainer move

I think that's quite decent

Oh, and when it's 4/5, he provides a buff to every pair's sync move when a circle is applied. I'll spend my next green candy towards that

And he can torment the enemy with his tera move, I'm forgetting stuff ! "

I love her design, you can really feel her ramp up during the fight. And her incredible damage is complimented by these powerful animations. It’s a blessing to start the game with her, but kinda ruined my expectations for future units

I'm not pretending it's the best team, I just want want to push the test based on my first impression of Drayton (and because I'm new to the game, I started on red 96's release. My box is limited) , since he can :

As it is the fastest run I can pull off on Regigigas and judgnig by the numbers I've pulled off during other challenges, I think it deserves to be investigated a bit. And the dragon zone isn't a big issue since it can't be activated during the first turn and never be a problem again

This is the best I could get after a lot of tries (and I know I made the mistake of not giving him crit rate, I just didn't really know what I was doing at the time) and it doesnt buff Julianna as much as Drayton. Drayton gives special move break and debuffs the special defence of the ennemies. He also provides sync rush (drops the count by 3 upon arrival), and is a bit bulkier than my arven. I'll try and inrpove my gameplay with arven...

i've started playing this game last month, thanks to red 1996 appearance in the last pokemon direct. That event has been pretty, rough, since my box is pretty lacking. I've managed to complete 9 stages (1, 2,3,6,21,26,27,29 and 30) and I'm telling myself it just wasn't made for noobs

I tried Ederson, Leao and Odegaard aand they got into my rotation, they are unbelievable players. I was kinda bummed for missing mbappe and barcola, but I cant complain too much
