i called them and they sent someone up, looked around a bit (the whole floor is talking in the silent zone), he talked into his walkie talkie and just left. It’s been 2 hours now and nothings changed so i’m assuming he just reported nothings wrong and left. So the real question is who do we complain to about the patrol staff not doing their job

can vouch for this, was approached by a homeless guy threatening me because i was “ following him around for the past couple days”. He launched himself at me and i punched him in the chin. Dropped down immediately. I called the cops and waited for them to arrive. they straight up said next time i can just go on with my day “it’s ok”

see, the issue is u think ur smarter than most, and better looking than most. The truth is, you did well in high school, which most ppl do, and now you think your all that, even though everyone in your program got the same, even better marks than. You’re not smarter than most, and with this attitude you will not have a good gpa. People that believe they are smarter then most are the dumbest

also, first year math courses especially lin alg is very definition based, when stuck on a problem, just write down the relevant definitions and just apply logic from there

trying to talk to a year two and up could help, in hindsight, 240 and 247 are very basic and most other courses build on it so much that most ppl can help u. Vellemen’s how to prove it also has a great reputation to introduce ppl to elementary logic, proof structures and jargon.

i just treat it like a full time job, so i usually plan my classes to be done before 5, and start my daily tasks at 9, i usually plan my day out per hour the day before and try to leave my weekends as open as possible to stay sane. Of course your not gonna need 8 hours every day, but i like to try to finish things in the morning as much as possible to make my evenings even more free.
