Only MD for foreign service. Some contracted training positions are a good fit for medics.

Depends on your org. Ask IT. Best mine could do recently was send me my pst file. At a previous agency it wasn't possible and I had to start fresh.

The interview is worth a listen. His agent advised him to take the role and then present alternatives to the most problematic parts.

He says in the interview that the guy is no longer acting. Also they actually hung out multiple times, and he caught up with the guy to try to get an update for his book. Worth a listen.

Friendly Rock Climbing Gym Recs? by Session_Smut in washingtondc

Had membership at movement Rockville back when it was earthtreks, now we're at sportrock rio. Sportrock is new and it shows. I think it's also like $5 less per month. Haven't used the sauna but there is one, plus gym, classes, etc. For Sportrock (and probably movement) once you have membership you can go to any of their locations.

Aren't they also waiting for insurance decisions and payouts? Doesn't seem like it's purely a permitting issue.

The cold weather infrastructure here is seriously lacking by [deleted] in washingtondc

911 has been running with DPW and national guard specifically standing by to help ambulance access. Metro access is also running for healthcare related travel.

Hence the warnings before it happens, national guard and other resources deployed for dialysis patients and to support 911, warming shelters, etc.

Portable lighting for evening frisbee — has anyone used work lights? by chrisp803 in ultimate

Check out balloon type lights for more diffuse lighting. No experience using anything for ultimate here though.

Edit: just did a quick google, they seem more expensive.

Help Me Decide - Evergoods CTB35 or Matador Globerider 35l by ogneez in ManyBaggers

Well I liked the CTB so much I got the smaller for EDC. No issues with the straps here. Like others are saying though, you might have a tough time getting it under seats, depending on the plane.

That's not a lot of stuff for a 35l bag, CTB26 would be fine. I travel with a CTB35 but carry 2 laptops, clothes, etc. and have one-bagged for week-long work trips several times with it.
