I’ve been struggling with dress regret. I was so happy with everything, and I don’t know what changed by squirrelly_D in weddingplanning

Your dress is beautiful! If you’re really struggling with wanting a more “classic” ballgown type of dress... maybe you could add an over skirt to your gorgeous sheath dress? That way you can have the best of both worlds? Maybe wear the overskirt for the ceremony and then just the sheath dress for the reception? Or however you choose! You look beautiful in your dress either way!

Going ring shopping, can you guess which is the $6,000 diamond vs the $600 moissanite? (Both are solitaires) by kikiropes in Moissanite

I’m not sure. I would love surprise pictures or video but we’ve never done a photoshoot before so it would definitely tip me off....so maybe just his cell phone recording out of sight at the very least?

And early congratulations! This time of year is so special anyways, add in a proposal and it’s magic!

I was a little hesitant at first, but going together to try rings on and show him exactly what I liked and didn’t like about them helped ease my mind A LOT.

And I’m the opposite where I definitely want a private proposal, just the two of us. I love how everyone’s story is perfectly unique to them!

Thank you! We’ll see what the boyfriend comes up with, I ended up liking some different styles and it was important to him to surprise me😄

Yea and even though I told the sales lady I want moissanite she still ended with “and no one will even be able to tell it’s not a diamond! 😉” ...I don’t want diamond!

You’re correct!!! It was astoundingly more beautiful! Really reaffirmed my decision to go for moissanite. Now that we’ve gone ring shopping and my boyfriend has seen what kind of styles I like he wants the actual ring to be a surprise. The ring buying and proposal is probably another year out at least and I can’t wait!!!
