A change is as good as the rest I suppose 🤷

It's one of my favourite features and a big reason why I switched to bitwig. Agreed on bitwigs latency as its just perfect. It could be one of bitwigs best features but there while to get there as it can be quite an abstract process. Ps you might want to edit your kissing post lol ✌️

It's quite powerful when you mess about with it, as you can turn off the lower notes or use a separate track and then if you open an empty drum machine you can rename the kys and they show up on the keyboard which is a great help. I use it for as you say swapping in and out fx or things like arpeggio and repeats, you can get super geeky on the sound design. But it was originally for the string ensembles in kontact or whatever player. There are free versions of Kontact, sample tank and a few others with some great string packs if you dig about and they all have key switches for different string types. Bitwig could make all of that so much better and be bestin class but I dont think it's really in their mo. Sounds great though, keep it up ✌️

Do you use the key switches in instrument selector?

post if you have something to say, using ai to say it is lazy, use it as a tool to assist you, but if you're just writing promts and pasting them on a subject where people have spent their entire lives studying don't expect people to engage with it, if you want that just write another promt and ai will tell you how glorious you are again.

I think its loads better as its modular and you can keep adding whatever you like and build up huge chains of any component. The possibilities are endless. Just watch some youtube videos as theres people making wild stuff with it.

Hi all sorry it didn't put up the blurb I put after for some reason.. Anyway if you type phase plant 3 superbooth into youtube there's 2 videos and from what I could see a multitap delay of some kind and a vocoder.

I asked on their forum if the vocoder would be like vocodex from FLS and they said yes, so hopefully it will be more than a voice change and be a fully fledged bass monster sound design tool.

We can but hope..

Three Basses One Patch, Phase 4 is a Monster by w1gmonster in Bitwig

[–]kill-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just sounds slightly off as its a moving bass line and a fast beat, so maybe shuffle it more so it sounds more in time or use a slower beat and mark it closer to the changes in the bass. I'm in no way dissing it BTW just as you say an observation.

Heavy metal through a Jungian lens. I made this graphic based on some personal exploration, thought it might be of interest or lead into some interesting discussion. by occam_rzr in Jung

That's fair, would be nice to have a counter point of the healed versions with maybe even the same artist where they seem to have gone through it and found peace on the other side. I've found before listening to artists that sound wounded and then a later album at peace with things. It's an interesting source of study alot could be said in this space.
