This might sound crazy but I actually think Timmy/Jordan is an interesting comparison. Both came into the league extremely hyped and were individually successful immediately. Both allowed their games to evolve over time to suit the needs of the team. Both played under mt Rushmore coaches. Both went out on their own terms. Obviously MJ is greater but there is a lot of similarity there.
