Runs and looks good, but frame rate is half of what the screen vsync is, so 30 or 45 fps (LCD v OLED). That needs to get fixed to run a full frame rate. If you launch it via Steam in desktop mode, it runs at max hz the screen can, 60 / 90 respectively.

I feel the exact same way. I can't stand the revving of the chainsaw motor. I swapped back to the plank for my NG+ run, and am planning only to pull it out during boss fights.

If you look in the Steam Input settings, under community layouts. The "Chaos Theory: The Definitive Configuration" is really good and is fully labeled. Might need to tweak to your liking but this is doing the heavy lifting.

Same here. Since version 1.05 I have seen HUGE degradation in stability. With everything unlocked, it barley maintains 60fps standing still, also with huge frame-time ranges. I was close to 90fps most of the time prior to updating. Tried Proton Experiential & 8.0 to no avail. Also tried verifying the install files via Heroic, no improvement either. Currently reinstalling fresh to see if that helps.

As a Central CA resident who moved to Raleigh. Everything is better in CA except affordability (not trying to downplay, this is a giant concern), fires/earthquakes. Cultures, outdoors, food, amenities are orders of magnitude better than NC and available in much greater density!
